Structural steel fabrication
Fabrication and erection of structural steel for commercial, industrial and infrastructure builds.

The business, as an owner knows it
A steel fabrication business that has traded for 20 years has earned something project work rarely gets credit for: repeat builders and contractors who come back job after job because the shop delivers on program, the shop drawings are right, and the welds pass inspection. The book looks like projects, but the customer relationships behave like recurring revenue.
The barriers are capability and trust. Boilermakers and welders are scarce, fabrication accreditation and welding standards compliance take sustained effort, and a workshop with cranes, beamlines and processing equipment represents years of investment. Builders do not hand a structural package to an unknown shop, because failure on site is unaffordable.
Why Talia Capital acquires here
We look for fabricators whose revenue behaves like repeat business: a stable base of builders and contractors, a healthy spread of project sizes, and a workshop team that holds the capability. The value is the tradespeople, the accreditations and the relationships, which is exactly the value we know how to keep intact.
After acquisition the workshop keeps its name, its team and its customers. Our contribution is patient ownership: investing in equipment when it makes sense, backing the estimators and leading hands, and never chasing growth the shop floor cannot carry.
What we look for
- 15 or more years of trading with repeat builder relationships
- Roughly 10 to 40 staff including qualified boilermakers and welders
- A spread of commercial and industrial work, not one large exposure
- Relevant fabrication and welding compliance
- A workshop with maintained cranes and processing equipment
- Estimating and drafting capability that does not rest on the owner alone
