Talia Capital is an operating group backed by permanent capital. We acquire 100% of established Australian B2B service and light industrial businesses and hold them permanently. We are the buyer, not a broker, and there is no fund structure behind us with a fixed life or an exit requirement.

We approach owners directly, using public information, because the businesses we want are rarely listed for sale. Your client may have received a letter from us. How that sourcing works is published openly on this page.

An established business, 15 or more years old, with roughly 10 to 40 staff, doing contracted, recurring or repeat B2B work in manufacturing, distribution or essential commercial services. The owner is typically 60 or over and thinking about succession, often without an obvious successor. The full criteria and the twenty company types we focus on are set out under what we acquire.

We do not acquire startups, retail, hospitality, franchises, single-customer businesses, or businesses whose value depends entirely on the owner staying.

Straightforward. One decision-maker, an indicative offer in writing once preliminary documentation is in hand, confirmatory rather than adversarial diligence leading to a binding offer, and completion in 8 to 10 weeks. We expect and welcome your involvement throughout: reviewing the offer, sitting in on conversations, and advising your client with full information.
