How we source businesses

Why you received a letter from us

If a letter or email from Talia Capital mentioned your business by name, this page explains exactly how that happened, what we know, and how to be removed.

The businesses we want to acquire are almost never listed for sale. Owners of established service and industrial businesses rarely engage brokers; they either find a buyer through their network or quietly wind the business down. So we do the work in the other direction: we research businesses that fit our criteria and write directly to their owners.

Where the information comes from

Everything we know about your business before we speak comes from public sources: the Australian Business Register (ABN Lookup), ASIC's public company registers, and your business's own public website. That typically means the business name, ABN, registration date, registered location, and whatever your website says about the work you do.

We hold nothing beyond public business information. We do not buy marketing lists, we do not have access to your financials, your customers or anything private, and nothing we hold came from anywhere you have not already published or registered.

What we do with it

We use it for one purpose: to write to owners whose businesses appear to fit what we acquire, and to be able to say why we wrote, honestly, when they call. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for anything else. Details are in our privacy policy.

How to be removed

If you would rather not hear from us, email enquiries@taliacapital.com.au with your business name. We will remove your business from our outreach permanently, confirm that we have, and you will not hear from us again. No questions, no follow-up letter, no exceptions.

And if the letter arrived at the right time

A first conversation is confidential, costs nothing, and commits you to nothing. Email us, or read how selling to us works.
